"i went to this place as i wanted a…"
i went to this place as i wanted a certain pair of oakley sunglasses , well price they wanted was £255, retail price by oakley was £239 and £239 in fire and ice and all other oakley retailers, but as i was at area with a sunglass hunt i thought id go in there, i wanted glasses but i would not pay the over inflated price they were asking, oakley have strict guidelines about not allowing stores to discount there products, so i think same should apply overcharging, so i told store i would pay price on oakley website, they would not lower price which was incorrect, place is a rip off simple as that..

"Absolutely awful customer service"
Absolutely awful customer service. Box arrived empty and due to 'system issues' they didn't start the investigation for over a week.
Now being told that it will take another 8 days at least to get refunded?! Out of pocket £250 and sunglasshut dont want to take responsibility!

"Awful customer service"
Awful customer service - no clue what they're doing! I was given about 5 conflicting bits of info in the same day, and now have no idea where my item has been delivered to but it's neither my house nor the collection point I selected. No understanding or engagement from them about the issue. Just a new, generic response every. single. time.

"Sunglass Hut Gatwick Airport Store"
Hi,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had at your Gatwick airport store.

On May 7th, 2023, I visited the store and purchased three pairs of sunglasses for myself, my wife, and my daughter.

I was accosted by the store manager, who falsely accused me of stealing a pair of sunglasses and proceeded to berate and insult me in front of numerous passengers.

The manager refused to check the CCTV footage, and made racist remarks towards me and my family, insinuating that we were thieves simply because of our ethnicity.

This behavior is completely unacceptable and has left me feeling humiliated and violated. I have since filed an official complaint with Sunglass Hut company and have requested an investigation team review the CCTV footage to prove my innocence. I am also seeking a formal apology from Sunglass Hut for the way I was treated.

I am truly appalled that such unprofessional and discriminatory behavior could take place under the Sunglass Hut brand. As a loyal customer, I am deeply disappointed in the way I was treated and the damage that has been done to my feelings. I am also considering taking legal action if this matter is not resolved promptly and satisfactorily.

I hope that Sunglass Hut company takes this complaint seriously and takes appropriate steps to ensure that this kind of treatment never happens to another customer again.

"I purchased glasses and glasses cord"
I purchased glasses and glasses cord. 3 weeks later I am still waiting for my second parcel even though I have paid for it. Sunglasses Hut blame the courier company. I can’t go into store for a replacement because I purchased online. I cannot be put through to a manager because their phones do not transfer calls. No one seems to know what they are doing. I do not recommend them at all.

"Incredibly poor returns experience"
Incredibly poor returns experience: bought sunglasses even after trying with virtual try-on when they arrived they didn't suit me. I began a return but 25 days later they've still not refunded me. I called the phone number on the return confirmation email and it's out of service! Then spent 30 minutes on a web chat, only for the person to eventually say they only assist with US orders (I'm in the UK.) Next day called a different phone number and the person explained all their systems are down so there's nothing they can do. Now the whole website isn't working. What is going on at this company?! Needless to say I'll never be using them again.

"Worked out for me"
I was incredibly nervous about ordering £350 of sunglasses given so many poor reviews, but I can't fault my own experiences. The sunglasses arrived quickly (2 working days) and were exactly as described with all the paperwork, and well packaged.

"Tell me if a case is provided or not"
I'd like to have the website show if, and what, case is provided with your purchase. For example, I just spent $190 on a pair of Oakley sunglasses only to receive them in a cloth sleeve. How is that practical for storing them?

If I had known that no case was going to be provided, I may have made a different choice.

"Bad Customer Experience Hilltown Istanbul Turkey"
I bought 3 Raybans at Hilltown Sunglass Hut Store in Istanbul Turkey on 29th of April 23. When one of them started to mark my wifes nose and did not stop hurting her we have gone back on 4th of May for an exchange. The store manager handled the exchange in the worst possible way and also cut our initial discount on the purchase. Eventhough we have exchanged with a cheaper model we get to get back less. His tone and act was very impolite and uncaring. He simply did not care and bad mouth and acted smart. I purchase 2 to 3 Raybans every year and this was the worst experince with the brand.
Addition: On the initial purchase date while trying on the glasses that were on the display, the same manager has warned me in a unfriendly tone that the glasses can get scratched and told me to be carefull.

"SHOCKING CUSTOMER JOURNEY"
I place an order for 2 pairs of sunglasses on the 14th April, 1st pair was due to be delivered on the 18th April & arrived on time, however the 2nd pair was due on the 19th April & still has not arrived. After numerous phone calls & emails all I keep being told is "We are looking into it" I have requested on 2 occasions now either a refund is issued or a replacement pair is issued - Ignored my requested. Also on 2 occasions I have requested to directed to their complaints procedure but again, Ignored.

This is now beyond a joke, I have paid nearly £350 for 2 pairs of glasses to only receive 1 pair & still no further forward on a solution!!!
